Sunday Lunch 9th September 2019
The Worshipful Master of Constitutional Lodge Nº 294, Andy Nicholson and his wife Joanne enjoyed Sunday lunch with Masons, their friends and their families on Sept 8th 2019, at Beverley Masonic Hall. Bro Liam O’Kelly the Masonic Hall Chef cooked a full traditional Sunday Lunch for over 80 Brethren, families and friends. There were many helpers with Brethren waiting on and assisting in the kitchen. There were guests of all ages and the meal was followed by an adults versus children quiz – won, needless to say, by the children’s team. A visit to the Temple afterwards raised a great deal of interest.
A very welcome presence was Sheila Brazier who was on her first trip out after a long illness. Sheila was presented with a bouquet of flowers by the W M on behalf of all the Brethren in token of her gradual return to health.
A raffle and auction raised a total of £247.00 towards Masonic Charity which will enable the to contribute ongoing support for local causes.
